Over the last 30 days, the Marion County market was solid with 143 homes sold, a 3.6% increase from last week's report. To put it in perspective, close-by Multnomah County registered 997 home sales in the same period, the most of all surrounding counties. The median sales price rose to $246,500 over the latest reporting period for Marion County, up from $239,900. Along with the increase in sales, the fact that there are a lower-than-normal three months of inventory indicates that Marion County is a seller's market.
